It's good to hear that there is some success combating it, but I've been in the midst of a problem that I'm not sure how to handle.

The domain for my name, DavidMillar.com, has apparently been under construction for more than 4 years. I've literally e-mailed the owner and used the feedback form dozens of times to see if I can purchase it for my use, but with no response. My best guess is that they're squatting on it because of some popular cyclist in Europe, but that's still screwing me over too. Any advice?

They call themselves domainers, but do not be fooled. They are making it very difficult for legitimate businesses and people that want simple domain names that people can remember. They are about as legitimate as porn spammers or maleware creators.
