It's funny because we just did an article on how SEO is like running a political campaign. I never thought of a chicken coop but it makes sense. If I could add something to your analogy it would be that at the end of the day the purpose of the coop is still to house chickens, and if it does that then your work wasn't in vain!

Great information on building a chicken coop relating to SEO campaigns, in the majority I could not agree more with you.

Having my own website on how to Build a Simple DIY Chicken Coop Chicken House Kit allows me to totally understand what it is that you are saying here, both on the chicken coop building and SEO analogy.

In most cases I don’t think people realise exactly how easy it really is to keep chickens, and on top of that the great fun and joy that can be had by simply keeping them. I’ve always thought that the fact they provide you with a fantastic food source too is pretty cool.

Sadly though I don’t think the same can be said for SEO, it is hard and work often frustrating, the fact that so many think they know how to do and yet very few actually do is pretty much the only similarity I can see in relation to building a chicken coop… Just my opinion!

Good effort with the chicken coop, and I would agree with you that while needing to understand all the in’s and out’s of woodwork and plan reading go together with coop building, understanding SEO is the only way to operate an online business.

That is one great looking coop, I am sorry to say…but I did not know you were a wood shop champ either. Anyway you must be a great SEO cause even when your out building a chicken coop you are still thinkin about it, great analogy. That really made me think twice about my current seo campaigns and what I can do that is more out of the box, or should I say out of the “coop”.
